BFF?

No school for me today. I have a PA Day, which stands for Professional Activity Day. So bascically teachers go to school but students don't.

3 day weekends rock.
Summer rocks more though.

right now it feels like summer weather. All the doors and windows in my house are open and I'm still sooo hot. But that's ok, I prefer warm weather.

I cannot WAIT till summer! I'm promised myself that this summer will be my best one yet.
I'll be attending many concerts this summer

Plus, camp again!

I pretty much live for camp. Guelph Bible Camp, yeahhhhh.
So fun times. And I met one of my best friends there.

How many best friends can you really have?
The way I see it, you can have as many as you want and they're your best friends for different reasons.
But one thing that annoys me is when someone over uses the term "best friend".
It has meaning and by calling someone you hardly even know your "best friend" is so lame.
Or when people say they're best friends with someone to make themselves look cooler

But I don't think best friend has to be mutual.
It's just someone you describe to be best in your circle of friends.

Like for instance, Rana. She sees the term "best friends" to be only one person. The BEST. So She calls Ashley her best friend but since I see the term to have different meaning, I consider her one of my best friends.

But yes, it just really bothers me when someone over uses the term.
Like if they met someone for only a couple minutes or maybe not even at all, how can they be your best friend?
I think if you've never met someone, fine, they could be your best friend, but only if you know that person inside and out. You tell each other everything and talk on the phone (to make sure they'e not some creepy 64 year old man).

It's just like the term "love". Tweens and teenagers over use the word and is giving it no more meaning.
"Going out" with someone doesn not mean you love them.
You have to spend time with that person and get to know them.
Infatuation and love is two totally different things.

"Best friend" and "love" seem to go hand-in-hand.
