Bring me a higher love.

So today while dropping my brother off at his school, I notice a kid running towards the building. He was wearing a jacket that was too big on him (in 80 degree weather I mind you) and as he ran his oversized jacket swayed in the air. I know what your thinking, "wtfrigg?..." but it reminded me of a cape.

Why do some superheroes have capes? All it does is slow them down. There is absolutely no point to a cape.
Anyone see the Disney movie The Incredibles? Great movie and the little tiny woman designer, Edna, I think her name was? Anyways, she points out many times that capes only cause trouble. They get caught in elevators, jet turbines, votex into the unknown.
So if you plan on being a superhero, I'll give you a little word of adivce- no cape!



On another note, I am very very VERY upset.
July 1-7th I'll be at camp in Guelph, Ontario.
July 2nd The Jonas Brothers will be in Cleveland, Ohio, performing a concert at the House of Blues.
Why doesn't anything ever work out as I planned?

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE camp. Probably just as much as jB, but COME ON. I've been saving for my Jonas Summer since February. I already have almost $350!!
It's not like I can even leave camp for a day and go to the show, Guelph and Cleveland are in opposite directions.
And I can't even go to camp late, the concert is on the SECOND day of camp. If it was the first day I'd go late for sure, but I don't want to show up for camp on day 3.
I'm still trying to think of plans.
I just HAVE to make it to that show!!
