There is no rainbow without rain

What an awful day.

I had a 4-hour shift tonight and a girl I work with promised she'd text me letting me know if she could take the shift. She didn't text me at all. Honestly, even if you can't take the shift, text me back! I texted her THREE times. I shouldn't have had my hopes up though, she always screws me over.
If you never take shifts from people, don't complain that you don't get scheduled enough hours.

So I went and worked my lousy 4-hour shift, not knowing every single person in the Windsor area would be coming to McDonald's on this random Tuesday night.
Not only did I have to stay an extra 2 hours, I also didn't get a break. And let me tell you, it was non-stop constant, "4 Big Mac combos, 3 large fries and 6 fudge sundaes" and just as I hand out their tray of sundaes, they say, "fudge? I meant caramel.."

I actually yelled at an Indian couple. But in my defense, they were sort of snippy.

Also, today is June 30th, the end of the month. The time when I abuse my monthly bandwidth limit by downloading a movie and a bunch of songs. I got home at 11:30pm. It takes nearly 4 hours to download a movie and I only had time to download 2 songs.
Lame.

I think I'm just going to buy Skins on DVD. I'm tired of watching it from a computer screen, it's not the same.
