Unique Names

There is a girl in my college program named Laurel but instead goes by her middle name - Katie. So her name is Katie Miller. It's so generic, don't you think? If I had a beautiful, unique name such as Laurel, I wouldn't want to be called by one of the most popular names in world.

There are four Amy's in my program. That is something I've very used to. In my grade 12 homeroom, I was one of three Jessica's. That was just in homeroom! Thankfully I'm the only Jessica in my program (also there is a Jessika!).

I like that in this generation we've been giving our children such unique names, maybe it's because we all grew up with the same names and wanted our children to be different.

Can I just say that I know every word to every Jonas Brother song? I would name them all, but there is just too many to name. I love singing Introducing Me by Nick Jonas, though, and trying to sing it as fast as I can. I also know most, if not all, of Taylor Swift's songs by heart. I'm very good at memorizing music and movies. Yet when it comes to memorizing for a test, I'm not so good at it. I don't understand.
