i'm not really into titles

I want to improve my vocab. To do so, I'm going to start writing down interesting words I hear people say or that I've read.

Today was was watching Twilight with commentary (which I actually prefer than just watching the movie. Well, a movie you've already seen. and I've seen Twilight many times so far) and the director, Catherine Hardwicke, used the word 'thwart'.
Awesome word, right? I just never use it, ever. So I'm going to add the word thwart to my vocabulary.

I guess I've just created a Word of the Day type thing.

Thwart (pronunciation: thwort) - to defeat hopes/aspirations/plans.

Tomorrow is the presale for the Jonas Brothers World Tour. I usually go with the same 3 people to the Jonas Brothers concerts but they've all been so distant lately. Even when I tried to bring it up they weren't really listening. So, although I feel incredibly bad, I made plans to go with someone else. Normally, I would go to the Detroit concert with my usual concert attendees but tomorrow I'm using my Team Jonas presale code to buy for me, Wendy and her friend Alice for the Toronto concert. I hope my friends aren't upset. But Wendy and Alice have never been to a Jonas Brothers concert, either. This summer will be their first! (and oh my gosh, they will love it!)
I've decided to only go to one Jonas Brothers concert this summer. Of course their concerts are a lot of fun and there will be plenty of new songs and awesome effects but at $100 a ticket and the fact that the arena can actually hold over 50,000 people... eh, just doesn't appeal to me. I still love you Jonas Brothers. Just for afar <3
