Staple Condiment
Ok, so everyone has that one condiment they put on everything. My brother's is hot sauce, my mom's is butter, my boyfriend's is soya sauce.
Growing up, I used to put ranch dressing on eeeeeeverything. Lately I've stopped putting it on most things because it's dreamy deliciousness and that fact is usually goes on salads is deceiving; it's very bad for you. I still use ranch for any kind of meat I eat, which is only chicken. So I guess I just use ranch for when I'm eating chicken.
Another thing that really bad for me, though I eat a lot of, is mayo. And I haaate that my friend introduced me to eating fries with mayo because it's delicious but so unhealthy. Oh, and only at McDonalds. Best fries with the best mayo. I suppose it isn't too bad then since I don't eat McDonalds fries very often, but when we "meet our goals" (I work at McDonalds, uh duh) aka sell a certain number of pies or get low drive thru times, they reward us with free food coupons. I have like 4 free fries coupons just sitting in my wallet.
I just made a grilled cheese sandwich and I usually dip it in ranch, but I decided against it because the only kind we have in our fridge is low fat or whatever and it's just not as good. Then I tried it with mayo and yuck, didn't go well together.
So I started rummaging through my fridge looking for something to dip my grilled cheese in. Most people use ketchup but I only like ketchup on my hotdog.
Then I saw it. My absolute new favourite condiment that is not only delicious but good for you.
SALSA!
Salsa + grilled cheese = my new favourite lunch food. Seriously, you must try this combination one day. So good.
I also think salsa is helping me ween myself onto tomatoes, since, you know, it's on my bucket list to love tomatoes.
Now if people actually read my blog, I'd then ask them to leave a comment saying what they're staple condiment is.
