Moving back!
I'm blogging as if it is Saturday (which it technically is, but I haven't slept yet so it's still Friday to me). So this will be my Saturday blog.
Yesterday (technically) I had a meeting with the program director of Tourism & Travel at St. Clair. I plan on transferring there in the fall so I had to meet with her to see which classes I took at Fanshawe would cancel out the classes at St. Clair. Also to see if I had good enough grades (which I do, I only got one D and that's because I couldn't keep up with that teacher's style of teaching and it was marketing, blegh). But, I could only show her first semester grades because second semester isn't finished yet (so she didn't see that I'm actually failing a class and I highly doubt I'll end up passing it.. fudge nuggets).
Anyway, so it turns out my first semester and second semester at Fanshawe completely exempt me for first and second at St.Clair, plus some of third semester. WOO! There was only one class that wouldn't count for anything (which is not a problem since that class is absolutely no effort).
Then we spoke about Co-Op which I'm supposed to do this summer but I really really don't want to go to Alberta or N. British Columbia for (and that would pretty much be my only option this summer). I told her I wanted to do the Disney College Program, but they don't offer it at Fanshawe and they DO at St. Clair!
So this is what happens: Fall 2011 - 5 classes. Winter 2012 - 1 class. July-December 2012 - Disney Program (2 classes). Winter 2013 - 1 class.
If I wasn't doing the Disney Program, my schedule would be 5 class in Fall 2011 and 4 classes in Winter 2012. Since I am doing Disney, I get 2 credits while I'm there. And, to be able to even qualify for the program, I have to be a returning student. So the program director set it up so when I come back from Disney I will have one more class to complete and THEN I can graduate.
I am SUPER excited and although being away from my family for 6 months will be hard, I'll be in DISNEY WORLD DURING CHRISTMAS TIME! Which is always something I've wanted to do. I want to see the Christmas Parade, I watch it every year on Christmas morning while eating my cinnamon bun.
30 Days of Music
Day 19 - A song from your favorite album - Do I even have a favourite album? If any one album, it's probably Speak Now by Taylor Swift or Fearless by Taylor Swift because they're the two cds I play over and over and over. I'm going to choose The Way I Loved You by Taylor Swift because last year when I was working almost full time, I would almost always leave in an angry mood because customers are cruel, so I would put this song on full blast driving home and just sing my heart out. Makes me feel better.
