This is Halloween, This is Halloween
HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEEN!
I'm going to start getting ready soon because I think it may take me awhile to get my costume all together since I'm a bit of a perfectionist. I'll post pictures of my costume tomorrow (or in a week, or you know, whatever).
My friend came over to my house and she asked me if Halloween was my mom's favourite season because of how decorated our house was. I told her she should come over at Christmas because our Halloween decorations do not even compare to Christmas. Every year my mom even takes a day off work to decorate our house for Christmas. She's that into it.
I had to work earlier today and I was sad I couldn't wear anything that wasn't uniform. I wore Halloween socks anyways *rebel*
I didn't book off work for Halloween because frankly, I forgot. (I just booked off Boxing Day though, no way am I missing Boxing Day shopping!). I was really really nervous I would be scheduled Halloween night but THANK YOU FERNIE for scheduling me in the morning. And tomorrow I don't start till 12:30pm (which is really 1:30pm because of daylight savings time). SO happy about that.
I think this is the first year I didn't watch Hocus Pocus! I watched Halloweentown last night but I completely forgot to watch Hocus Pocus. Maybe that's why it doesn't really feel like it's Halloween yet. I'll put it on while I do my make-up.
Which reminds me.. GOING TO GET READY!
